Ford Island Memorials

Ford Island hosts additional memorials on an active military base. You must take the official shuttle to visit these sites.

The Ford Island Memorials offer a quieter reflection area away from the main visitor center. Because they sit on an active military base, you cannot drive there directly. You need a reservation for the Ford Island Bus Tour through Recreation.gov.

These sites honor the crews of the USS Oklahoma and the USS Utah. Exploring both sites takes about 40 minutes, plus shuttle transit time.
